Workshops at Prem Ashtanga Yoga Shala

  • This workshop focuses on the vinyasa ‘jump through and jump back’ steps for the Ashtanga Vinyasa sequence. We focus on building strength in the arms, shoulders and core to prepare our bodies for vinyasa as well as arm balances. You will learn deeply about breath control and Bandha’s.

  • In this workshop you will learn techniques to open your hips for both external and internal rotations. The aim is to increase flexibility safely of the hamstrings, inner thighs and lower back.

  • This workshops focuses on opening the the cervical, thoracic and lumber spine as well as creating flexibility in the shoulders and neck. This class is designed to help a practitioner learn about the anatomy of the back, how to safely increase flexibility of the spine and increase awareness of the importance of our spine in regards to overall health and vitality. Breath and Bandha’s will be a big focus.
